Single boards for 2-4

The biggest thing i hear about is that the 2,3 and 4's can't win against the higher level players (5-8)

I would like to have a day for us lower players to get together and play against one another.

I need some input and who would participate in a 8 ball and 9 ball single boards match to qualify for regional in Oct.

HOWEVER, last session i qualified in 8 ball and I was "on" that day and beat a 6 and two 4's. All it takes if 1 or 2 shots to go wrong for them and you won a game. That puts them on the hook cause you generally only have to win 2 games.

I hope you don't lose the faith and keep trying and maybe one of these times, with either a good blind draw or a missed shot or 2 will find you in the regional tournament. That is where you play against your own skill level.

Singles Boards

This weekend there will be plenty of opportunities to Participate in the singles boards to qualify for Vegas.

On Sat and Sunday at Grover's Hip Pocket starting at 1
and Sat. I will be running them at Brian Boru's starting at 1. Stick around I can and will be there all day and night if needed.

So if Grover's is too far north come out and see me at Brian's

We will be running both 8-ball and 9-ball

World Famous Trick Shot Champion will be performing at Grover's Hip Pocket starting on Wednesday, April 13th at 7:30pm. He will also be hosting Clinics on Thursday and possibly Friday to teach APA players the finer art of playing pool! Clinics cost $100 per person for one-on-one training in shot making, position play, banking, kicking, caroms, throw, tangent lines and strategy. You will also receive one of Mike's training books when you sign up for the clinic. See Jason Jenkins at Grover's Hip Pocket to pre-sign for the clinic!!

Come and meet Hall of Famer and World Champion MIKE MASSEY at GROVERS HIP POCKET ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13th AT 7pm. Mike is 5 time ESPN Trick Shot Magic Champion, 4 time WPA World Trick Shot Champion. He will be performing an exhibition, as well as Challenge Matches!! We will have signed cues from Mr. Massey to raffle off, and much more memorabilia to check out. We look forward to seeing as many APA players at this event as can make it.[:D]

We'd love to see "Cool Runnings" back, but heard through the pool league gossip-mill that Cindy is pregnant! Dale Miller is now working at Skeeters. He has a Double-Jeopardy team (8 and 9ball) playing on Wednesday night. Depending on what night you all want to play, we can definitely get you guys some players. Just let us know what night you want, whether 8ball or 9ball or both. Monday and Thursday are coming up to start in October.
